I'm just becoming familiar with the features of this site.  I'm not sure if you have to be a member of the webs community to post in the blog.  If you are able and wish to post questions or discuss some of my, or your own knapping thoughts in this blog please feel free if you are able.

Hey Marty, just wanted to try this posting thing out to see if it works. I'm glad you've advertised the site finally. By doing so should keep pressure on you to maintain it successfully. I hope to work on mine also as time goes on. Thanks for telling me about it. Btw, those points look familiar ;) Can't wait to get on the tarp with you again.

Hey Marty, great looking site! I am trying to figure this posting thingy out. Really nasty weather up here for a few weeks, about worn out. Hope all is well in your country and maybe see you this fall at BCX

Look forward to meeting you in OR! I have watched your videos and have successfully broken everything I have tried to make (except a couple small points). I have some really pretty piles of shards and flakes now though!

Marty, just discovered your site yesterday and thought I'd jump in here
and say I have really enjoyed your video's and can appreciate your skill
with a hammer stone. I've tried it a few times but always go back to the
copper because it's easier for me. If I ever get a pile of stone that I feel I
can spare a little for experimentation, I'll work on developing my hammerstone
techniques. I know it's just a matter of spending the time and rock figuring out
what works.

Hey Marty, nice page. Just got back from Arizona. Weather was poor at best, but Vicki and I had fun. I did manage to pick up some secretious sand stone from Utah and some flat anvil stones from Arizona.

You can set up a pop up camper at the knap-in. People usually show up early in the week, so come on early if you can and we can get an early start! I'll have to do masonry work so I don't think I'l be able to take 2 wks. off, but we'll definitely hit it early before the knap in if you can make it! Hope you can. Keep me posted via email . Thanks!

Great website Marty!! Love the vidoes too! The latest series on punch notching is excellent. Amazing how you were able to partially blow through that step fracture when thinning the base on that clovis.
